This music has a feeling that makes me feel my past my present and my furture all at once in one time frame.. its insane! Beautifully designed album right here!!!! Still an all time top favorite!
This is one of those albums where you feel a little guilty you only have one set of ears to absorb it with, so you just keep putting it on repeat and letting it enhance every summer, every sunrise, sunset, forest walk, beach nap, bike ride, fireside respite, midday nap, and every road trip.
I used to listen to this while I studied in my dorm my freshman year of college. Now it fills me with nostalgia of some of the best years of my life. Thanks Tycho.
I have some sleep disorders (I'm not gonna say it's insomnia or sth because I never got it looked at) but this song has put me to sleep countless times after a sesh. beautiful, beautiful music.
Planned Parenthood was founded by a racist that thought blacks were unfit to breed and they have been reducing the black population for 100 years with cleaver marketing. She spoke at KKK rallies. That was the only way abortion was made legal, to reduce the black population. Real Black Men are waking up!!! The democrats sold the blacks out.
Beuty. Your conceptoin of what music is is simply sublime and perfect for me. I cannot say enough about what you've done for me life dude. Inspiration, dedication, hope. I have a pretty fked up cocain addiction. I learned to shoot coke when I was 18. A boy. It's haunted me since. Your music has helped me sleep, and calm myself, as well as motivate me to run and focus on fitness. Thank you. Whoever you guys are.
WHUUUT!! I have not heard this since I want to say 96?! Star Streams late Sunday Nights til midnight. I should have known this was Tycho!! I have another Album that has 'Montana' as the 2nd?? song if not, then just a memory of me skipping to it as Friends and I crossed into Montana looking for old Mopars and Anything Late 50's.. I digress these guys are the Best in Driving music especially across Montana into Idaho, Nevada The hills eat fuel but so worth it.. oops went back to that tangent so yup, that good ! :)

First time i heard tycho it was the simulcast album i had just gotten a tattoo of a 3 eyed cat of my lh upper rear thigh i was driving home listening to com truise chemical legs then simulcast came on i zonked out from the adrenaline of the tatto and how awesome tycho is i flew through a 4 way intersection and never stopped and didnt get hit....tycho
I watch this dive albulm, and the simulcast albulm nearly every night for last few months. I like sigur ros, and boards of Canada, and alwalys wonder how this music is created. Like other listensers i sort of listen nearly every night. I have always loved the playstation game wipeout soundtrack wayback. I will have to look at more of your friends hour videos. I imagine your music is helpful to many people. Good job.
I rememeber back in the day when NPR would use tycho as the sound bit in the background between segments.. those were the best of time and the worst of times but most importantly it was the best of times! Tycho thank you for the tranquility, motivational, inspiring and relaxing sounds you produce!
I've just put this on and realised that the last time I heard this was when a friend put this on in my place 2 months ago. Last month she took her own life and Ive just remembered that this was the soundtrack for the last moments we ever spent together. I have no idea why I'm writing this for complete strangers, but that's the power of music I guess.
Note, to you all..... Notice the complexities of the cover artwork, in front of your face.. Look at it from every angle..... Shallow to deep. Yeah.... Tell me what you see.
It's the walkway from the third dimension, to the fifth dimension (aka, the fourth dimension "treck, walk, pilgramage, journey, ect.,) which we happen to be presently a part of. Muah.
This album brings me nostalgia when I was about 15-18 and I would play this when I was hanging out with friends and riding bikes and just being kids I’m now 24. And when I listen to it all I can still remember all the smiles I had being young.
i used to smoke weed all the time with my ex-girlfriend and discovered Tycho together 8 years ago. used to always play this song back then.. getting stoned together
How many of you listened to Boards of Canada when you were younger? It was the soundtrack to my high school days. I fell in love with Tycho due to the vast similarities. It truly takes a real artist to invoke such feelings and bring to places just by sounds alone.
Boy oh boy... I love the digital age...! In the 80s and 90s it took forever and sometimes a lot of luck to discover music this good.... often a random cassette tape shared amongst mates. Now I just sit online waiting for the next epic album to roll on by as a recommendation. BOOMSHAKKALAKAH!
One of the most coolest sounding tracks. It’s not traditional ambient in terms of environmental sounds but ambient none true less and a really good chill out album where you just play it and stare off and daydream about a long good adventure.
Beautiful music. I've actually set some of the songs as my alarm clock. One of the best decisions of my life. It's so serene waking up to this. Thank you for the recommendation AR-vids!
I first heard "hours" while doing landscaping for my boss in the car. I told him right then and there. This is exactly the music I always wanted but never knew existed. It sounds crazy but I always wanted some electronic chill but never knew where to find it. I even asked a few cd... stores. Tycho is the music I'd make in my wildest dreams. Its perfect
